Moldovan MP: Election process went on smoothly
Baku, September 1, AZERTAC
"I participated in the early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. This is my second experience here. During the elections, I tried to pay attention to all the details," said Moldovan parliamentarian Vitalie Jacot at a press conference on the preliminary results of the elections.
He emphasized that the chairpersons and members of the polling stations operated transparently. "Azerbaijan is a strategic partner for Moldova. I observed the elections both in Baku and its suburbs. The election process went smoothly, and citizens interacted with us easily. They were well-informed about where to vote. Everyone I spoke with expressed a desire for the process to be further digitalized, which was insightful. Overall, the atmosphere was very calm, and everything was well-organized," the deputy added.
