According to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), the forecasted tasks for gas production have been over-fulfilled for October 2003 – 442,7 thousand cubic meters of natural gas instead of scheduled 426,4 thousand. The oilmen have fulfilled the monthly task by 103,8 percent.

341 thousand cubic meters of gas fall to the share of oil and gas producing departments of “Azneft” company, 9,5 thousand cubic meters – joint ventures and operating companies while the rest – consortium of companies, while “Azneft” fulfilled the task by 100 percent.

Thus, joint ventures and operating companies have fulfilled the monthly tasks by 125 percent, consortium companies – by 118,5 percent.

As a whole, the oilmen have extracted 4 million 297,6 thousand cubic meters of natural gas, while the same period last year it was 4 million 292,5 cubic meters.
