MOTORWAYS TO BE PUT IN ORDER
5 modern asphalt mixing plants will shortly be put into operation in Azerbaijan, Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov told AzerTaj correspondent. The asphalt plant based on Ukrainian technology has been lately launched. Three more plants producing 160 tons/hour of asphalt are being contracted now. The construction of the plants based on German technology producing 240 tons per an hour is close to completion in Terter and Alat. German plants are portable as they can be dismantled and removed.
In minister’s opinion, the launch of the modern plants will allow realizing President Ilham Aliyev’s order to put all the roads of Azerbaijan in order by 2006.
