MOZART’S 250 YEARS MARKED
World musical community celebrated 250 years of great Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), on January 27.
The anniversary ceremony has held in grand palace “Mozarteum” in his native city- in Salzburg. In the ceremony, has been also officially announced “the Mozart’s Year- 2006”.
Anniversary ceremony was opened by premiere of composer “Idomeneo”, in Vienna where Mozart lived and and died.
