NATIONAL REVIVAL DAY DEDICATED

A meeting dedicated to the National Revival Day took place in Astara. Speaking of the historical significance of events of November 1988 that became the first demonstration of the inviolable unity of Azerbaijani people, his desire to life freely the speakers condemned the support of the former USSR leadership to territorial claims of Armenians to Azerbaijan.

The meeting participants stressed that Azerbaijan people reaffirmed that the country’s independence is eternal and irreversible by electing the worthies successor of Heydar Aliyev’s political course Mr. Ilham Aliyev as the President of Azerbaijan Republic
