NATURAL CALAMITY COMPENSATION
Some 9 billion manats have been already paid off out of 10 billion manats allocated for this aim. The commission, determining the volume of damage, goes on working in the regions, suffered from natural calamity and is expected to apply to the government for extra funds within 15 days. All the same, the government has no opportunity to cover fully damages to the population. That is why, people should go in for liability insurance, otherwise it is difficult to the government to pay off full compensation.
It should be reminded that as a result of natural calamity of spring of 2003, economy of Azerbaijan suffered damages amounted at over $60 million.
