NEIGHBORING BUILDINGS UNDER INSPECTION
“Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Baku mayor office, executive power of Yasamal district as well as relevant design institutes are inspecting three buildings neighboring the collapsed one and also constructed by the notorious company Mutafakkir,” Deputy Head of the Yasamal district Executive Power Samad Islamov told journalists. According to him, the Baku Mayor Office placed an order with the company Mutafakkir to design the building in 1994, but construction activities began without providing necessary documentation. “The management of the company was repeatedly warned and ordered to stop the work, which, however, were continued illegally,” Samad Islamov said.
