NEW EMBASSIES OF AZERBAIJAN TO BE OPEN
As was informed to the correspondent of AzerTAj at the Milli Majlis, with a view of further expansion of connections of Azerbaijan with the countries of the world and increase efficiency of bringing up to world community the fair voice of our country, 8 new embassies will be open in foreign countries. Among them are Canada, India, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Belarus and Latvia. Besides, the permanent mission of the country will be open at headquarters of UNESCO in Paris.
The bill connected to creation of embassies in foreign countries, has been considered in the standing committee of Milli Majlis under the international relations and inter-parliamentary links, was decided to submit for consideration at Parliament.
As was informed to AzerTAj from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, now Azerbaijan has in foreign countries 21 embassy, 5 permanent missions, 3 offices (Canada, Belarus, Moldova), general consulate in Istanbul and 2 honorable consulates (Lebanon, Saint Petersburg).
