NIKOL ASSETS INCREASED 2,8-FOLD
“NIKoil” bank’s assets rose 2,8-fold to 35 billion AZM against 12,3 billion manat in early 2003. the rest on accounts increased by 40 percent to about 9 billion AZM. The customer base surged 27-fold to 1 thousand accounts to date. Commission incomes increased 5,3-fold while percent incomes – 10-fold. High growth rates were provided by reforming of administration structure and introducing of new bank products. The introduction of 10 kinds of deposit services increased the volume of population’s savings. Deposits increased from zero exponent to $2,6 billion and 95 percent of which falls to the share of population’s savings.
Before early 2003, bank did not attract natural persons despite operating with National Bank’s global license. Interest rates for attracted funds fixed from 6 to 10 percent depending on the term.
