NO BLAST CAUSED BUILDING COLLAPSE, PROSECUTOR GENERAL
“The rumors on alleged blast as a cause of the building collapse are ungrounded,” Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov told journalists on Thursday recommending them not to spread unproved facts. He stated the accident had occurred because of violation of safety regulations and use of low quality construction materials. Garalov advised that nine of ten dead bodies pulled from the debris had been identified adding, however, that his office had received reports on ten more unaccounted for.
