NOMINAL INCOMES UP IN AZERBAIJAN

Nominal incomes of the citizens of Azerbaijan have gone up by 18.7 percent during the first half of 2004 in comparison with the same period of the last year, AzerTAj reported, citing the State Statistics Committee. According to the report, the incomes have totaled $2.8 billion from January to June of this year.

Per capita incomes also have risen by 17.7 percent – up to 1.7 million manats ($320) -- during the same period, the State Statistics Committee said.
