OSCE monitoring group members visit Aghdam District Executive Authority
Aghdam, March 2, AZERTAC
Field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office - Jiri Aberle and Peter Swedberg met with the head of Aghdam District Executive Authority Ragub Mammadov on March 1.
The OSCE representatives were informed about the challenges facing the civilians living on the frontline, and the problems caused as a result of Armenia's shelling the residential areas.
Ragub Mammadov said that the Armenian armed units keep under constant fire the residential areas of the district which are close to the line of contact and prevent the civilian population from doing farm works.
Despite the difficulties caused by the ongoing enemy’s shelling settlements, the residents deal with everyday concerns and economic affairs, R. Mammadov added.
