PAKISTANI MAGAZINES ON AZERBAIJAN
Formation of the people of Azerbaijan since the ancient time, stages of development of the language and culture of Azerbaijan, the states existed in numerous periods in the North and South of Azerbaijan, establishment of the Sefevid state, which united the whole Azerbaijan in early XVI century, division of Azerbaijan on the Gulistan and Turkmenchay treaties between Iran and Russia, history of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in the Northern Azerbaijan and the movements in the South Azerbaijan led by Sattarkhan, Sheik Mohammad Khiyabani, issues of establishment of national government and other issues have been covered in the magazine.
The magazine also presents materials on regaining of state independence by Azerbaijan, leadership of the national leader of Azerbaijan President Heydar Aliyev in the Republic during ten years and the 15 October 2003 presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan, biography of the incumbent President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and photos of his meetings with public.
The edition dwells on creation of the People’s Poet of Azerbaijan, MP Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh and characterizes him as a poet of freedom and struggle, well known dramatist, philosopher and citizen.
The previous issue of the magazine also published materials and photos connected with election of Ilham Aliyev as President of Azerbaijan and taking the office.
Another magazine of Pakistan, “The Voice”, has also published special pages with photos of President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, photos of state flags, other information.
