Then, M. Alaskarov and members of delegation of Azerbaijan Parliament have visited the city of Irpen of the Kiev oblast. Here, the parliamentary delegation has assigned a wreath on the monument of the renowned daughter of the Azerbaijan people, outstanding scientist – ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aziz gizi Aliyeva. M. Alaskarov and members of delegation honored her bright memory.
Further, the parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan has assigned flowers on the monument of the great Ukrainian poet, singer of liberty and independence Taras Shevchenko before the building of the Mayoralty. As is known, this monument in Irpen city has been established by support of businessmen - Azerbaijanis in March 2000 and is the first monument, erected by representatives of minorities in the country.
In the Irpen city Rada, M. Alaskarov and our deputies met the management of city. The sides have exchanged memorable gifts and have expressed the common opinion, as further will strengthen fraternal links between Irpen and Garadagh district of Baku.
The same day, the parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan has got acquainted with the cultural centers of Ukraine, toured some memorable places.
Official visit of the Chairman of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan to Ukraine is in success.
