PETKİM awarded information security certification

"Petkim" petrochemical holding, the greatest asset of Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) in Turkey was awarded Information Security Certification to ISO 27001.

According to press service of the company, ISO 27001 is a system which defines to act in risky situations by analyzing the possible hazards. Information security considered the most important part of an integrated management system. "Petkim", which aimed to provide the possibility of the institutionalization of information and sources of information, confidentiality, integrity, and the possibility of using, is included among international companies that invest in information security.

As well as “Petkim” is owner of certificates on ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 environmental protection, ISO 50001 energy management system, TS 18001, labor health and safety and ISO TS 10002 customer satisfaction.
