PREPARATION FOR SECOND SUMMIT OF HEADS OF FIVE CASPIAN STATES UNDERWAY
As the special representative of the president of the Russian Federation on the international power cooperation Igor Yusufov informed at the briefing, the results of sitting of the Working Group on October 26-27, on Caspian sea imposes great responsibility on experts - participants of negotiating process as session passed before preparation of the second summit of heads of five Caspian states. He has noted that the said Summit is due Teheran, and now terms of its carrying out are coordinated by the sides on diplomatic channels. The deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov, in turn, has stated that the experts have to work hardly to agree those basic moments on which the heads of the states could make the coordinated decision.
It was agreed that 16th sitting of Special Working Group on development of legal status of the Caspian Sea will take place in Ashkhabad, and the date will be coordinated on diplomatic channels. During forthcoming sitting the working groups will coordinate key questions for representation on summit of the heads the Caspian states.
