President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev issued a Decree on bestowing the diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic upon Maharram Abish oglu Aliyev.
On another Decree, he has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan.

President Ilham Aliyev decreed on recall of Rafael Ibrahimov from the post of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

President of Azerbaijan issued a decree on recall of Fakhraddin Gurbanov from the post of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic to Canada and permanent representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization.

On another Decree, F. Gurbanov has been appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Azerbaijan Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
