PROCESS OF ESTABLISHMENT OF AZERBAIJAN DIASPORA CONTINUES
Chairman of Committee Nazim Ibrahimov has informed on the constituent conference, which has been carried out on April 17 in the capital of Germany - Berlin, and has expressed confidence, that the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe would play significant role in strengthening the Diaspora organizations on the European continent.
Chairman of Committee has told: “The Congress will pass the state registration in Germany, its headquarters will be in Berlin. The Congress will function as the non-governmental organization, and the committee will not interfere with work of this structure. Elected by chairman of Congress Bahaddin Gaya was born in the province Igdir, Turkey, and by origin he is an Azerbaijani.
Nazim Ibrahimov also has noted that process of association of our compatriots has acquired irreversible character. Societies have been created already in 15 provinces of Turkey, and this process proceeds. Most likely, in May in the city of Ceyhan will be founded the Federation of Azerbaijanis of Turkey. Then, it is turn of our compatriots living in America. Creation of the Congress and federations does not mean split of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis (CWA). The said structures simplify coordination of activity of Diaspora organizations and raise efficiency of this work. For this reason, chairman CWA Javad Heyat is one of founders of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe. By the way, the constituent report of the Congress is open, and any Diaspora organization can join it.
Chairman of Committee has reminded, that Turkish and Azerbaijan communities of all countries keep close contacts and carry out the coordinated activity. It plays important role in bringing the truth on Azerbaijan realities, neutralization of hostile anti-Turkic activity of the Armenian lobby.
