RELATIONS BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND IRAN GET STRONGER
Noting that in due time he has worked in Azerbaijan, and well knows the country and is extremely pleased that would carry out activity in our Republic, Avshar Suleymani has underlined that on the new post would use the best efforts for service to interests of two countries. He has emphasized, that would work at expansion and strengthening of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, and has expressed hope for support of the Azerbaijan side in this field.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has emphasized, that recently the relations between two countries have reached higher level. Reminding about the last visit of the President of Iran Mohammad Khatami to Azerbaijan and signing during this visit about 10 joint agreements, he has regarded it as an evident parameter of expansion of relations between two countries.
Having agreed with opinion of the Minister, the ambassador has noted that would mobilize all forces for the further development of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, including economic relations.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has wished Avshar Suleymani successes in further activity and has received a copy of his credentials.
