Risk management decision-making mechanisms reviewed

Experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan as part of a technical assistance mission.
The mission focused on reviewing the Central Bank’s existing approaches to strategic planning, the identification and assessment of strategic risks, risk management decision-making mechanisms, and strategy implementation and monitoring.
The mission identified areas for improvement and provided relevant recommendations based on its analysis and international best practices.
At the conclusion of the mission, the IMF delegation met with Central Bank Deputy Governors Gular Pashayeva and Ali Ahmadov, as well as department directors, to present its key findings and discuss ways to strengthen strategic management, risk management, and strategy implementation and monitoring.
