ROLE OF YOUTH IN ONGOING WORLD PROCESSES RISES
Deputy speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Valeh Alaskarov on 15 August has met with the representatives of youth organizations form Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Sweden. As stated earlier, the delegations are on visit in Azerbaijan on invitation of the National Council of Youth organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic. Valeh Alaskarov spoke of the role of youth in the processes ongoing in the world. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special attention to settlement of its problems, develop ties among the youth organizations of numerous countries. In this sense, visit of youth representatives to Azerbaijan is of great value. The youth over the world should have wider links, and take active part in the ongoing processes. Valeh Alaskarov, in particular, informed about state care for youth in Azerbaijan. Laws are adopted to regulate youth activity, and a special Youth Program is being implemented in the country.
Then, Mr. Alaskarov gave detailed information on the role of Milli Majlis in development of international relations and inter-parliamentary links, on the activity of youth member of parliaments in this sphere.
Representatives of youth organizations of Ukraine, Sweden and Moldova expressed gratitude for detailed information, and hospitality. The goal of the visit, as stated, is develop links, exchange views with their Azerbaijani colleagues.
