As was noted, it is the first time the book is presented to Azerbaijani people and its main points fully cover the theoretical views of the author on time, society, historical processes, events of recent times. The period and events survived by two peoples who have the same socio-political, cultural-ideological history prior to gaining of independence, economy etc. entailed the same processes that is why Ion Iliesku’s book which is somewhat of the chronicle of this period will be of interest to Azerbaijani readers at least from this point of view.
The book is mainly based on deep analysis of thoughts associated with the new priority direction of building of democratic society that denied the totalitarian communist regime, socialist system in favor of integration into the Europe, the country’s past is connected to the same aspects observed in Azerbaijan then.
In conclusion, ambassador of Romania to Azerbaijan Tasim Jamil expressed gratitude for the fact that exactly this book was translated into Azerbaijani and presented to Azerbaijani readers.
