Russian version of Yahoo! launched

Baku, November 3 (AZERTAC). Yahoo! Corporation has announced the launch of the Russian version of its portal.

Russian version of Yahoo! is placed at ru.yahoo.com. Functionality of the site is very similar to English version. The site allows users to access to e-mail service, social networks Facebook, LiveJournal, Twitter, weather forecasts, news in Russian from Russian sources, and other services.

However, some experts believe that Yahoo! will have difficulty in competing with Google, because Google introduced a wider range of possibilities to Russian-speaking users long ago.
