SANGACHAL SUBSTATION ENLARGED
A new 125-Mba transformer was put into operation in “Sangachal” substation.
Thus, the project on enlargement of the 220-kilovolt-system substation “Sangachal” completed. These works aim at strengthening reliability of energy supply of the oil terminal in Sangachal, which is the strategically important object of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan MEP for transportation of the Caspian oil
To this end, Azerenergy is fabricating a new 110/10 kv substation together with Siemens. It is linked by the 5-km PTL with Sangachal substation.
