Senator Mark Warner responded to letter from USAN

Baku, March 12 (AZERTAC). Senator Mark Warner, member of the Democratic Party, an American politician and businessman, who is currently serving in the United States Senate as the junior senator from the Commonwealth of Virginia, responded to the letter of the U.S. Azeris Network (USAN) concerning the genocide committed by the Armenian armed forces towards the Azerbaijan civilians in Khojaly village.

In the letter, Mr. Warner says that the victims of Khojaly tragedy were commemorated in Washington. The senator also assured the Azerbaijan Diaspora that he will do his best to solve the problems of Virginia residents including Azerbaijanis. In the letter, the senator also says that the members of his staff scrutinize the opinion of the Azerbaijani community and are prepared to pass a corresponding legislative act.

Earlier several members of the US Congress commemorated the victims of Khojaly tragedy.
