SIGNING CEREMONY OF DOCUMENTS HELD
After the meeting of the heads of state at Chong Wa Dae, the signing ceremony of documents on bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and South Korea in the presence of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Roh Moo-hyun took place. First, Presidents signed a joint declaration between Azerbaijan and South Korea.
Heydar Babayev, Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan and Song Min-soon Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of South Korea signed an agreement on promotion and protection of investments between the governments of Azerbaijan and South Korea.
Rho Jun-hyong, South Korean information and communication minister, and his counterpart Ali Abbasov signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of an e-government model in Azerbaijan.
Lee Yong-sup, South Korean Construction and Transport minister and Ziya Mammadov, Azerbaijani Minister of Transport signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of intellectual traffic system.
Besides, memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the field of emergency management and energy were signed between the governments of the two states.
