SITTING OF GUUAM NATIONAL COORDINATORS COMMENCED

A sitting of the GUUAM national coordinators committee commenced in Baku, March 22. The sitting is attended by coordinators of GUUAM countries except for Uzbekistan, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Baku, representatives of international financial organizations. According to national coordinator of Azerbaijan, deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov, the sitting revolved around the internal structure and GUUAM’s external affairs. The sitting participants are going to discuss the security of GUUAM transport corridors, provisions of the USA-GUUAM framework program on promotion of trade and transports development, on provision of frontier and customs control and establishment of the virtual center of interstate information-analytical system to fight terrorism, organized crime, drugs turnover.
