SITTING OF STATE COORDINATING COMMISSION ON DEMOGRAPHY HELD
Major Task of the State Coordinating Commission, comprised of representatives of the Ministries of Labor and Social Security of Population, Finances, Economic Development, Justice, Health, State Committee on Statistics, Confederation of Trade Unions is the preparation of the State Program on Demography and Development of the Population.
Opening the sitting, the Commission Chairman, Minister of Labor and Social Security of Population Ali Nagiyev touched upon the development of the legislative base of the population’s social security, implementation of programs on reproductive health, education, gender policy, employment, migration.
In order to prepare the State Program, it was scheduled to set up a working group consisted of specialists of relevant structures, preparation and submission of the Program until September 8.
In conclusion, the participants reported on the work implemented in view of State Program’s preparation, ratification and fulfillment of commitments and regulations stipulated by the European Social Charter.
