SOCAR and TPAO review implementation status of jointly executed projects

On May 15, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Çağrı Şirin, Head of the Foreign Projects Department of Türkiye Petrolleri A.O. (TPAO), and Halil Buğra Yavuz, Head of the company’s Representative Office in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the development of relations between SOCAR and TPAO. In this context, they emphasized the significance of TPAO’s accession last year to the Production Sharing Agreement on the joint geological exploration and development of the Shafag-Asiman prospective structure in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea in terms of expanding bilateral cooperation.
The parties also reviewed the implementation status of jointly executed projects and exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
