SOCIAL PROBLEMS SOLVED IN KHACHMAZ
According go the information of local executive authorities, this year 76 thousand tons of grains were produced in that region. Some 130 thousand tons of vegetables have been already collected and the harvest is still going on. It is expected that fruit gardens will give over 40 thousand tons of harvest. Vice processing factory, tinned foods factory and food products factory are operating in the region today. Production of these powers is being exported to Russia.
Artesian wells were mined in six villages of the region, and water pipelines were laid to 6 settlements. Overhaul was held in two culture palaces, and Central Culture Palace built in 1952 among them. The work on stable gas supply is going on. Besides, automatic telephone stations for 10 thousand 700 subscribers were installed, schools in a few villages and regional center were repaired and new classrooms were constructed.
