Task on seizing a vessel successfully accomplished in “EFES-2026” exercise

The tasks of the next phase were successfully accomplished during “EFES - 2026” Joint Multinational Exercise being held in Türkiye, Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
In accordance with the operational plan, airborne units of the participating countries carried out the task of seizing an imaginary enemy vessel.
The groups, approaching the target aboard attack helicopters, successfully landed on the vessel’s deck within a short period of time.
As a result of the operation, conducted with a high level of professionalism and coordinated action, the vessel was fully taken under control, the crew members were neutralized, and security was fully ensured.
