The weighted average exchange prices made up 4904,34 manats for 1 US dollar in the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange on August 18.

The average-weighted dollar exchange rate was 4904 AZM/USD at the morning session on US currency today in the BEST (Bourse E-system of trades). The volume of deals closed by the banks totaled $795 thousand. Manat exchange rate raised 0,91 point to 4903,09 for 1 USD.

In the afternoon session, the volume of 5 million 450 thousand was fixed. Thus, the weighted average exchange rate was 4904,34 manats.

Thus, the volume of trades for both sessions totaled $2 million 308 thousand, which in manat equivavalent turned up 11,319 billion. The average cost of one deal was $192 333. On USD/AZM T+1, T+2 instrument in BEST, no deals were closed because of lack of demand.

Deals were not made on instrument RUR/AZM, EUR/AZM.

In the inter-bank credit market functioning in the framework of BEST, the banks have applied for placing manats credits to total amount of 37,383 billion manats.

No deals on credit instrument between the banks were on August 18.
