The weighted average exchange prices made up 4905 manats for 1 US dollar in the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange on August 23.

The average-weighted dollar exchange rate was 4905 AZM/USD in the morning session on US currency today in the BEST (Bourse E-system of trades). The volume of deals closed by the banks totaled $25 thousand. Manat exchange rate remained unchanged 4905 for 1 USD.

In the afternoon session, the volume of 1 million 879 thousand was fixed. Thus, the weighted average exchange rate was 4905 manats.

Thus, the volume of trades for both sessions totaled $1 million 904 thousand, which in manat equivavalent turned up 9,339 billion. The average cost of one deal was $476 thousand. On USD/AZM T+1, T+2 instrument in BEST, no deals were closed because of lack of demand.

Deals were not made on instrument RUR/AZM, EUR/AZM.

In the inter-bank credit market functioning in the framework of BEST, the banks have applied for placing manats credits to total amount of 37,378 billion manats.

No deals on credit instrument between the banks were on August 23.
