Implementation of the third stage of “Capacity Building and Data Transmission Network Implementation for the State Customs Committee” joint project of the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic and UNDP on 2003-2004 was launched.

As AzerTAj was informed by committee press service, creation of specialized software, relevant training of the personal staff and researches in this field are planned in the frameworks of the project.

Trainings by Russian and German specialists, 6-months courses on English as well as other activities were implemented during the first and second stages of the project, which was launched in January 1999 is one of the leading samples of application of information and communication technologies.
