Total CEO to visit Azerbaijan

Baku, November 18, AZERTAC

Chairman and CEO of the French oil and gas giant Total S.A. Patrick Pouyanné will pay his first visit to Azerbaijan.

He will join an event marking the 20th anniversary of Total`s activity in Azerbaijan.

One of the world’s seven largest companies, Total was founded as French Petroleum Company in 1924.

The company operates in more than 130 countries worldwide.

Total has a 5 per cent share in the consortium operating the BTC oil pipeline. The company is preparing to drill the first well in the Absheron oil condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea next year.
