TRAINING FOR LOCAL COMPANIES
A day or two ago the Enterprise Center, together with BP’s HSE Department, organized an HSE Training Course for local and international companies. The training course was presented by Abbas Islamov, BP Safety Advisor and was directed towards improving HSE awareness among local companies about BP HSE requirements as well as HSE Golden Safety Rules and Standards. Representatives of the following companies participated in the HSE course: Statoil, Keppel Fels, Blue Water Shipping, AZPMA, Eupec, Murphy, CST Synergetic, Azertemir, Azlab, ETS, AzeriMI Drilling, Oil Electro and Azerigaz.According to feedback received from participating companies, the training has given them opportunities to learn more about BP’s HSE system and to therefore improve their own standards to meet international requirements.
