TWO INT’L ORGANIZATIONS MULLING OVER CREDIT ISSUE
In the frame of a joint mandate, the Council of Directors of the International Financial Corporation /IFC/ and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development / EBRD/ are mulling over the issue on allocation of $100 million for the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) First Phase project and $150 million for construction of the Baku-Tbilisi Ceyhan pipeline. Environmental Impact Assessment /EIA/ documents were submitted to the public and some international financial institutions to be considered. The IFC and EBRD Council of Directors will examine these documents in the mid-October of the current year.
