UNESCAP SITTING HELD
The sitting of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific convened in Bangkok, Thailand, to discuss intergovernmental agreement on Trans-Asia railway network, AZERTAC correspondent learnt from the press-service of the Azerbaijan State Railway Department.
Deputy chief of the State Railway Traffic Management Association Teymur Mammadov represented Azerbaijan in the event.
It was recommended that the document be signed by the transport ministers next year. The agreement will play an important role in development of railways between Europe and Asia.
