UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNION TURNS 130
Director General of “Azerpocht” Gambar Baybalayev congratulated postal workers, told on the history of establishment and activity of UPU.
It was noted that since 1993, Azerbaijan is a member of this international structure and due to successes achieved within past years and the Azerbaijan mail took worthy place in the structure.
“Azerpocht” was awarded with the certificate “Silver place” for high service in 23rd Bucharest Congress of the Union and was elected the member to the Administrative Council of this structure, where 190 countries represented.
Letter of congratulation of Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov and order on awarding post workers with of title “Master of Communications” were read out.
