WORKSHOP ON DESTRUCTIVE RELIGIOUS SECTS HELD
Representatives of the existing religious communities in Azerbaijan spoke of the actions being realized in the Country by state to ensure freedom of faith, aimed at prevention of the destructive activity of religious tendencies under the influence of external forces that threatens independence of Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, it was noted that some non-traditional sects have become sources of jeopardy for society.
At the discussions, it was underlined that in the majority of developed countries the activity of non-traditional sects are banned. In documents of the international structures, connected to religious activity also is recommended to accelerate combat against similar sects. Therefore, the society should much more intensify combat against this evil.
