World Telecommunication Development Conference continues with panel discussions

The second day of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25) continues in Baku with various events and panel sessions.
"WTDC-25" covers topics, projects and programs related to development in cybersecurity, digital inclusion, information and communication technology applications, innovation, ICT statistics and indicators, ICT regulation and other areas.
The event brought together 2,500 participants from more than 160 countries, including the USA, Germany, Türkiye, Russia, France, Israel, Japan, China, Thailand, Switzerland, Greece, Malaysia, Slovakia, Kazakhstan. Representatives from about 60 countries at the ministerial and deputy ministerial levels also participate at the conference.
More than 500 young people also attended the event. The participation of both international and local youth in the conference in Baku provides them with opportunities to familiarize themselves with global technological trends and establish international partnerships.
The WTDC is held by ITU every four years in order to bridge the digital divide between countries and promote digital transformation.
The conference, co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, is dedicated to the theme “Universal, Meaningful, and Affordable Connectivity for an Inclusive and Sustainable Digital Future.”
