XIII CONGRESS OF INTER-REGIONAL ASSOCIATION STANDARDIZATIONS STARTED
As the correspondent AzerTAj informs, the director general of the State Agency of the Azerbaijan Republic on Standardization, Metrology and Patent, Khalida Masimova has dwelt on value of the said action conducted at support of Institute of Turkish standards. She has told: “The reforms which have begun at the end of the last century in the political systems which have occurred in manufacture and society of transformation have reserved representation about the role of quality. The questions connected to life and health of the person, preservation of the environment, value of joint efforts in these directions is brought to the forefront, and rises. The international organization of standardization, the European organization of standardization, other international and regional organizations carry out effective work so that the states united in the World Trading Organization and aspiring to begin members of the mentioned Organization, "spoke" on one technical language.
Representatives of the state, heads of structures TSE, CEN, CENELES, IRAS, АZSTAND have told at the Congress about the problems carried out today in the field of standardization, put by new and global approaches, about mutual cooperation of the countries included in association, the saved up experience, have informed on directions of the further work.
The congress will end on 8 April.
