ZONAL CONFERENCE IN LANKARAN

A zonal conference dealing with the implementation of the President Ilham Aliyev’s November 24 2003 Decree “On Measures for Accelerating Social and Economic Development in Azerbaijan Republic” and the State Program on development of provinces, was held at the office of Lankaran Executive Power on March 26. The meeting initiated by the State Social Protection Fund was attended by officials of its regional divisions in Astara, Lankaran, Massali, Jalilabad, Lerik and Yardimli, as well as those of Lankaran city administration. Unemployment reduction and opening new jobs were considered by the meeting participants as an important factor influencing on cash incomes of population, rise in pensions. They also discussed obligatory social insurance payments, factors causing accounts receivables and other existing problems.

After the event, Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslimov and Head of the Lankaran Executive Power Zeynal Nagdaliyev received a group of pensioners.
