As Azerbaijan prepares for racing action to return to the streets of Baku for the third year, so does the Hilton Baku which is positioned in the heart of the action, according to bakucitycircuit.com.

The marshals responsible for technical inspection of Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan familiarized themselves with conditions created in McLaren's newly launched hotel room.

Hilton have been a partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team since 2005, providing a “home from home” for the team as they compete in this global championship. With over 5,200 hotels to choose from across the entire Hilton hotel portfolio and more than 60 hotels available in 17 of the race locations, it’s no wonder the partnership between Hilton and McLaren goes from strength to strength.

In addition to supporting the McLaren Formula 1 team at races, Hilton have developed a range of experiences to showcase this exciting partnership to the huge passionate audience which follow the racing. Following on from its success last year, Hilton Baku have once again worked with the team to create a McLaren themed room inspired by the team and its drivers Stoffel Vandoorne and double World Champion, Fernando Alonso.

The suite overlooking the Baku skyline and the fastest street circuit on the racing calendar, is filled with memorabilia and team items sent over from the McLaren headquarters in the UK. This includes drivers overalls and helmets showcasing the new colours and design of the McLaren Formula 1 team, along with items from the cars like Pirelli racing tyres and a steering wheel – items few people get to see up close, let alone touch.

Hilton Honors members have been given the opportunity to bid their points on the Honors auction website, where over 73 million members could use their loyalty points to bid on the opportunity to stay in this unique room. The winning bidders will enjoy staying in this themed room at the Hilton Baku, soak up the views and enthralling atmosphere whist watching the action from the renowned hospitality provided by the hotel on their rooftop terrace.
