Azerbaijani judoka advances to final of 2024 European Championships in Croatia

Three Azerbaijani judokas will vie for medals at the 2024 European Judo Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.
Judoka Balabay Aghayev defeated French Cedric Revol in the men’s 60kg semifinal bout, as he will face Spain’s Francisco Garrigos in the decisive encounter.
Another Azerbaijani Judoka Turan Bayramov, previously defeated by his fellow compatriot Balabay Aghayev in the men’s 60kg quarterfinal bout, will lock horns with Turkish Salih Yildiz in the bronze medal match.
Moreover, female judoka Aydan Valiyeva (52kg) will face Hungarian Reka Pupp to claim the third place.
