Azerbaijan promotes its cultural and tourism potential in Peru

Azerbaijan presented its cultural and tourism potential during an International Fair of Culture, Tourism, and Education held in the Miraflores district of Lima, the capital of Peru.
The fair, organized as part of the World Tourism Day, brought together embassies and educational and cultural centers from a total of 39 countries around the world, including the Mayor of the Miraflores district, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps, and other officials.
The event also showcased Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, national values, and historical monuments, which drew visitors’ significant attention.
Visitors were briefed on Azerbaijan's key tourism destinations and its rich historical and cultural heritage, including the Maiden Tower, Shusha Fortress, and other significant historical monuments. They were also presented with various promotional materials showcasing the country's tourism potential.
The three-day exhibition, involved more than 100,000 visitors, was also widely covered by Peru's local media.
The International Fair of Culture, Tourism, and Education served as an important platform for promoting Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, tourism potential, and national values across South America.
