Mexican newspaper highlights Azerbaijan’s Remembrance Day

Mexico’s Así Lo Dice México newspaper has published an article by journalist Federico La Mont highlighting September 27, Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan.
According to the author, the occasion is of great significance for the Azerbaijani people, as they pay tribute to the Azerbaijani heroes who lost their lives for the Motherland.
The author noted that the 44-day Patriotic War left a deep mark on thousands of people and remains deeply embedded in the memories of the families and loved ones of the martyrs.
The author also mentioned the visit by foreign journalists to Azerbaijan’s liberated city of Shusha in June 2022, noting that the city, which bore the traces of a 30-year occupation, has become one of the important symbols of Azerbaijan’s cultural and historical heritage.
The article also highlighted Azerbaijan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring lasting peace in the South Caucasus following the Patriotic War, including the peace process with Armenia, the demarcation and delimitation of borders, and the development of regional communication links.
