Azerbaijani judokas win five medals at Asian Cup

All members of the Azerbaijani national team won medals at the Junior Asian Judo Cup held in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
According to the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the team secured a total of five medals, including two gold, two silver, and one bronze. Gulshan Huseynova (-48 kg) and Ayan Aliyeva (-63 kg) won their respective events. Gulgaz Musayeva (-48 kg) and Ayten Verdiyeva (-57 kg) took silver, while Chinara Sadiova (-52 kg) won bronze.
The Azerbaijani team finished the first day of competition in first place in the women’s standings and second in the overall team standings.
A total of 121 judokas from 19 countries are competing in the international tournament.
