Central banks of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan explore cooperation

A delegation from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU) has visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) to exchange experience in risk management.
During the visit, the CBU presented Uzbekistan’s experience in identifying and assessing strategic and operational risks, applying Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), and integrating Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes.
According to the CBA’s post on X, the discussions also covered risk management related to the use of models, information technology and cybersecurity, as well as financial risk management, assessment methodologies and institutional approaches.
