Ramin Mammadov: Azerbaijan contributes to the development of international dialogue

On October 28, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with António de Almeida-Ribeiro, Acting Secretary-General of the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID).
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation and its future prospects, focusing on interfaith and intercultural dialogue, religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence and the expansion of international cooperation.
Ramin Mammadov provided an overview of Azerbaijan’s state policy aimed at preserving multiculturalism and tolerance in line with President Ilham Aliyev’s political course, as well as initiatives promoting religious and cultural diversity.
António de Almeida-Ribeiro praised Azerbaijan’s active role in promoting intercultural cooperation, particularly its efforts to foster global dialogue and mutual understanding through the Baku Process. He stressed the importance of continuing these initiatives to strengthen international trust.
